About the Founder

Farah Jamal Esmail   is the founder and CEO of Elevate Educational Consulting, where she empowers students to achieve their academic aspirations through personalized guidance and strategic planning. Farah works specifically with international students, simplifying and demistifying the entire university application process. She has hands-on experience navigating the university application process with her own family and a global perspective from her own academic journey,

Born in Toronto and raised in Montreal, Farah moved to the UK for high school, where she completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) at an international school. She holds a degree in Medical Biochemistry from King’s College London, a postgraduate degree in Audiological Sciences from the University of Manchester, and a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD. After a decade in the UK, Farah moved to Dubai, where she pursued a successful career in banking while also completing her Executive MBA.

Her inspiration to start Elevate Educational Consulting came from her personal experience guiding her stepson, who, after taking two years off school to pursue professional gaming, decided to return to education and apply to universities in the UK. Together, they navigated the challenges of online schooling and tutoring, culminating in his acceptance to study Business and Finance abroad. This experience, along with her own exposure to prestigious personal development programs at institutions such as Harvard and IE, underscored the importance of having a clear road-map, strong support system, and belief in one’s own potential.

Now based between Lisbon, Diubai and Luanda, Farah leverages her international experience and academic background to provide students with comprehensive advice, guiding them through the intricacies of global university applications. She has worked with students applying for both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, ensuring they have the strategic support needed to succeed.
